God Loves Broken People

A very eye-opening, perspective-changing book. Yes, we are all broken in some way and most of us pretend not to be. The problem is, we tend to see others as perfect, so we try to hide behind a mast. Sheila shows us that we should allow God to use our brokenness, our pain for Heaven's purposes. If we remember our flaws, we can have compassion for those who are broken in the same way. We will look at people in a different light.

1000 Days, Ministry of Jesus Christ

The book was thoroughly enjoyable. The author writes in everyday language with humorous comments throughout. I appreciated that he would give the original Hebrew words at times to help to understand the exact meaning of what Jesus was saying. I would recommend the book for all new Christians. A lot of Scripture is contained in the book which makes it easier to understand what the author is talking about.

Living With Confidence In a Chaotic World

I am sorry to say that I did not finish the book. I read about half of the book. Dr. Jeremiah writes good books, but the problem with me is that I also listen to him on the radio almost daily and when he is preaching the theme of the book, the sermons are almost word by word of the book. When I am reading the book, I am thinking I have heard this before.

What In The World Is Going On?

I am sorry to say that I did not finish the book. It did not hold my interest enough to finish it. Not that the author is not good, it is just that when you hear his sermons almost daily, the books seem to be a review of the sermons. I give it two stars.
